CONFESSIONS OF A POP FAN 2.0

BULLETPROOF HEART

February 17, 2015 Jamie S Rich

Man, Lady Killer really is turning into that special operative that can do just about anything. The news we keep getting from Dark Horse about sales just keeps knocking us on our butts. The momentum behind the series just keeps building.

The reprint of #1 hits stores tomorrow, February 18, and we're continuing to do press behind the series.

I had a chat with Comics Bulletin about the book, and they have a six-page preview of #3.

Galactic Zombie has also given us a glowing review.

Lady Killer is one of those stories that is a perfect fit for its medium, and when that happens, both the story and the medium are enriched. The colors, art, and writing work together in a really harmonized way to deliver an entertainment experience that I don’t think would fit anywhere else.

And Mutiversity Comics has our final issue in their top 10 picks from Dark Horse in May.

I kind of hate the idea of “Lady Killer” ending. I really like this series and maybe if we all buy up tons of copies, we’ll get this thing to an ongoing or at least a miniseries. Josie’s story comes to an end here and while I’m sad about it, I am excited to see her kick all the ass.

Lady Killer #3 will be on stands the first Wednesday in March, so 3/4. I think the #2 reprint will be out then, too.

In the meantime, here is another preview, this one courtesy of Comic Book Resources. Click on the images to scroll through.

CONFESSIONS OF A POP FAN 2.0

A place for news on my books and other publications, and the occasional random musing.

You are also encouraged to subscribe to the companion tumblr, Midi-Confessions123. It's devoted to detailing what pop culture consumables I have partaken of.

Since 2002, I've been blogging about the world we live in and life in general, as well as shilling my wares, over at my Confessons of a Pop Fan blog. That site is still available on blogger and will remain there as long as they allow. I feel it best to let it be an archive rather than roll everything over.

Confessions of a Pop Fan is named for my favorite Style Council album, Confessions of a Pop Group.
